Hi, I’m Alex

Alex Byers

That's me!

I’m a web-focused journalist living in Washington D.C. Right now, I pay the bills by producing some mean web for POLITICO. Before that, I was the editor in chief The GW Hatchet, the student newspaper at The George Washington University. I have also spent time with The Washington Post, NBC News, and General Mills.

On the weekends, I like to tinker with websites and hatch evil plans to save the world and/or the news industry. If you’d like to talk to me about building you an awesome web presence, that might be in the cards. You may e-mail me at byersalex [at] gmail [dot] com.

Technology and information are pretty awesome, but sometimes I like to throw baseballs or swing a golf clubs or play guitars or drink well-crafted beers. Not all at the same time though.

Mostly I just like to learn and do. So let’s chat.
